Gratitude, no matter what…

I think many of us have heard the phrase “attitude of gratitude” on numerous occasions.  And I think many of us know that being grateful feels good and makes us enjoy life so much more.

However, how many of us are grateful, no matter who is or is not in our lives, no matter how much or how little money we have, no matter if we are completely or partially healthy?

It truly costs nothing to be grateful.  One of my favorite ways to express Gratitude is to begin with the words, “I AM most thankful…”  For example, I AM most thankful for all my clients, students and friends.  I AM most thankful for all the Goddesses and Gods that Are Sacred to me.  I AM  most thankful for my Feline Daughters.  I AM most thankful for all the doctors and nurses that took excellent care of me when I was in the hospital from Tuesday, August 28, through Friday, September 7, 2012.  I AM most thankful for the fantastic and utterly delicious food I ate every day I was in the hospital.  I AM most thankful for my personal Psychic Advisor, Roger Pratt, and how he Re-Minds me of the Divine Abundance of people who love and adore me.

I took a moment to bask in what I just wrote.  How many of us do that, too?  Especially you that are my fellow bloggers and writers.  How often do you simply and sublimely bask in what you wrote?  How often do you simply allow those words to wash over your Body and Soul?

I felt so much Peace when I expressed great Gratitude and profound Praise.

Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot over-recommend you spend a few moments every day being most thankful.

And, I invite all of you to post comments expressing for whom and what you are grateful.  And yes, it would make me immensely happy if you began each sentence with “I AM most thankful…”

Before I close, I wish to acknowledge my newest blog followers.  There are three of them, so bear with me:  First, “Silk Road Collector;” then, “CharmedYogi;” and finally, “ilonca84.”  May all of you and yours receive Divine Healing, Divine Inspiration and Divine Prosperity from following my blog, “This Is Who I AM.”

And for the rest of my lovelies–blog followers and readers–may all of you continue to receive Divine Love, Divine Peace, Divine Abundance, Divine Prosperity, Divine Honor and Divine Healing from my blog.  Thank you.is

  1. I love this post ans i so agree!

    • Thank you for the comment and the compliment.

So, for what or whom are you most thankful?

      • I am grateful for being alive, having a roof over my head, food, having the opportunities that not many people have. Grateful for some great relationships… I could go on and on =)

      • I love this comment! Thank you so much for it.

Last Thanksgiving, a dear friend invited me to celebrate Thanksgiving with her sons. She told me, “I make my sons do this, so before you eat, tell me what you’re thankful for.” Well, after two minutes, she told me, “Robert, the food’s getting cold,” then condensed what I was saying.

I, too, my dear, could go on and on for why I AM most thankful. YAY!

      • Haha,,, That is awesome! It’s important because most people complain so much on a daily basis and I myself am guilty of doing that… But long story short, you are right! It is important to be grateful! =)

      • That is why I prefer to get paid to hear the complaints of others! Ha, Ha!!

Seriously, there is far too much pain in the world, and most people complain in a way that is “dumping” on another.

Years ago, when I worked in an A & P Supermarket, I had a co-manager that once said to me, “Don’t complain to someone who can’t help you with your problem.” He remains quite right, my dear.

Thanks, again, for another wonderful comment and have a great day.

  2. I am most thankful for dreams of old times with new friends and a renewal of the cummonion of friendship among them :)

    • James, thank you for the comment and for bringing some Joy to my day.

Alas, today is one of those rare occasions since my Divinely Orchestrated stroke that I AM depressed about Love (or, the lack of romantic love) in my life, and although I AM listening to Zhane on Spotify, my mood has yet to lift.

Nonetheless, your comment brought a bit of a much-needed smile to my face. Thank you, my dear.

  3. ::::::Taking a deep breath::::::::: I am most thankful for the people, places and experiences that have brought me to who I am today, I am most thankful for finding a better path than what I was on, I am most thankful for the people that are in my life right now (people near and far), I am most thankful for the shelter, food and clothing that I have been provided, I am most thankful for my dreams and intentions for the future, I am most thankful for the ability to accept whatever comes my way, and last but not least: I am most thankful for this inspiring and supportive community of bloggers. Thanks so much for mentioning my name…..peace, love and light to you :) –Ilona

    • Ilona, thank you for such a beautiful comment and compliment to my blogging, too.

And thank you for honoring my request to comment on what (and whom) for whom you are most thankful.

It is my practice to acknowledge my blog followers as soon as I receive a notification. I like the practice and it makes me happy.

Those that have been following my blog for a while have noticed that I now post on Mondays and Fridays, but if I have a new blog follower on, say, a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, then a new post is published on that particular Day of the Week.

Thank you, again, for honoring who I AM and what I do.
