Recently, I shared with all of you that I discovered that someone–a very stupid person, with way too much time on their hands–decided to hex me.
I was surprised, but when I realized what was happening, well, it certainly made a lot of things make more sense, and fall into place.
As a result, I felt led to create a series of videos about this topic on my YouTube Channel, and have each video be accompanied with a blog post from this, my professional, Metaphysically-oriented WordPress Blog, “This Is Who I AM.”
Witches, Pagans, Wiccans, and Magickal Practitioners are taught the Law of Three; that what we send out into the Universe, returns to us threefold.
In other words, the good, positive, Loving Energy we send out into the Universe is returned to us increased by three times.
Conversely, the bad, negative, hateful energy we send out into the Universe is returned to us, increased by three times. In other words, three times worse than when we first had it.
However, so many of us who practice the Art and Craft of the Wise are not taught, or perhaps, Re-Minded that, we have the power to use our Magick to protect ourselves. And we absolutely have the right to protect ourselves, and yes, those of us who practice Magick have the right AND the responsibility to use Magick to protect ourselves, our homes, our positions of employment, our loved ones, our animal companions, etc.
Nevertheless, one very important item is that we can use Magick to stop someone causing harm.
I shall give you a quick example of this.
More than ten years ago, I use to give Readings at a wellness center in the Midtown East section of Manhattan, NYC. I was one of two Readers there. The other Reader was a lovely lady, she was born in Russia, but she had been living in the United States for more than twenty years.
She was not only a grandmother, but she could certainly have been my grandmother; she was very nice, she and I would talk about the Tarot, Western Astrology, the various public venues at which we used to give Readings, etc. She always had a smile for me, and we would always have these lovely chats in between Readings.
Now, shortly after I began giving Readings at this wellness center, I noticed that the number of Readings I conducted began to decline. Both walk-ins, and scheduled appointments. I recall one incident where my client (a semi-regular client who has been using my Psychic Services for more than twenty years), was told I no longer gave Readings there. This was just one example of things like this.
Not at all coincidentally, at the time I had begun learning about Candleburning Rituals. I knew that using a black candle was ideal for banishing and eliminating negativity, baneful (as opposed to black) magick,
I took a black taper candle, to repel any and all negativity being sent to me, “dressed” it with appropriate oils and herbs, but before doing that, I Spiritually Cleansed my home, and myself, cast a Circle, then took a nail (like the one used with a hammer) and carved the following words, going from the top of the candle to the bottom:
TO ALL THOSE CAUSING ME HARM
I then “dressed” the candle with the appropriate herbs and oils, grounded and centered my Energies, spoke Words of Power, lit the candle, had a chat with the Goddess, then allowed the candle to burn itself out.
In the morning, I gathered the ashes, spent wax, etc., then flushed them down the toilet.
Later that day, I went to the wellness center to give Readings, and as soon as I arrived, one of the co-owners informed me that the other Reader, that sweet, grandmother-type lady, fell, the night before, and broke her leg.
I was stunned! I could not believe that something so bad could happen to someone so nice and sweet.
A few weeks later, I had a Reading with my personal Psychic Advisor, Roger Pratt, and I happened to mention this, and he looked at me.
I did not understand why he was giving me such a pronounced look, so I said, “Roger, am I missing something?”
Clearly, I was.
He patiently pointed out to me that I cast a Spell to take all the negativity being sent to me, causing me harm, to go back to those sending it to me. And that THE SAME DAY I do this, someone who I thought of as nice and sweet, falls and breaks her leg. And then he said, “You don’t believe that is a coincidence, do you?”
Given how often I told people about coincidences not existing, especially my clients, I knew it was not a coincidence.
Well, roughly a month later, this Reader returned to the wellness center. She was not as nice as she was to me, she did not chat with me as often as she once did. We rarely discussed the Sacred Tarot or Western Astrology, as we did previously, and she certainly did not seem as grandmotherly to me as before.
Coincidence? Yeah, right!
