Specific Tools and Methods of Spiritual Protection

In this blog post, I shall discuss some various Sacred Tools and Magickal Methods for both Psychic Self-Defense and Spiritual Protection.

As there are many that I know of and use, I shall limit this post to only a handful of them.

First, one of my personal favorites is Uncrossing Incense.  Now, “uncrossing” refers to a state of being liberated, as opposed to “crossed,” bound, stuck, etc.

Most botanicas, Metaphysical stores and the like sell Uncrossing Incense, but if they do not have any, Dragon’s Blood shall do.

As for Dragon’s Blood, and yes, although I know most of you know this, some of you may not.  It is not actually the blood of a dragon.  It is called “Dragon’s Blood because it is a resin, and usually a dark red color.  Dragon’s Blood is a fantastic uncrosser, and can be used in Incense, as well as the Essential Oil form.

For the record, I have both, but I find that I use the Incense form more often than the Essential Oil, but both work very well.  I tend to use Dragon’s Blood Incense sticks as a smudge wand, and that way works very well for me.

Speaking of smudge, I LOVE my White Sage.  It is not uncommon for me to have both White Sage and Dessert Sage in my home, at any given time.

In the accompanying video, I shall talk about how to use White Sage (as well as Palo Santo) if it is inconvenient for you to burn either one.

Of course, I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Sea Salt baths!!

I must admit, I AM always amazed at how many people I meet who do not have bathtubs in their home.  In the accompanying video, I shall talk about how to use Sea Salt if you only have a shower stall, but I digress.

When I take a Spiritually Cleansing bath at home, I use Sea Salt, Epsom Salts, Florida Water (of course!), various Essential Oils, and other items, too.

In Cuban and Cuban-American culture, there is a popular line of toiletries called Kolonia 1800.  They come in various fragrances, including their signature fragrance.  I like to add their Rose Cologne from my Divine Love Healing Altar, and the Vetivert one from my Divine Prosperity Altar.

Of course, if you happen to love Sandalwood as much as I do, it not more so, then you owe it to yourself to bask in the beyond deliciousness of the Kolonia 1800 Sandalwood.  It is without question the BEST Sandalwood cologne I have ever used, and these days, the only one I use.

There are others, but I wanted to keep this post relatively short, and so I shall.
