What Matters Most

I love books. I love reading books, I love holding them in my hands, and I certainly love buying them.  New, old, hardcover, softcover, paperback.

I often meet people who tell me that they do not have time to read.  And I always reply, “I always make time.”

It does not matter if you are a mere mortal, a human being progressing to a Spiritual Being or a Spiritual Being having a SuperBeing experience.  If something or someone matters to you, you always make time for it, them, him or her.  It is that simple.

So, I always make time to read, to write (especially while participating in Holly Troy’s phenomenal “Writing the Energetic Body–Shedding Inhibition Workshop”), to listen to music, to spend time on the Internet, to cuddle, kiss and pet my cats, to talk to and listen to my friends, to return telephone calls and Emails from clients and students in a professional and timely manner, to eat wonderful food, to drink beverages that fulfill my Body and Soul, to walk and to lounge in bed (even if the lounging is mere seconds before lights out).

Make time for the things that mean the most to you.  Make time for the people who matter most to you.  Make time, no matter how busy you are, for the things bring Divine Delight to your Body and Soul.  The world shall be a much better place for it, andyourworld shall be a much better place for it, too.  Thank you.

Sacred Folly philosophy in a few sentences!!

I love reading, too – and writing! I will be moving out of Tucson in three weeks and it is so hard to put my books in boxes. Even if I haven’t looked a the book in an entire year – i pick that book up and say – I might read this in the next three weeks (even though I’m already reading seven books at once).

Of course, my workshop requires me to be reading A LOT, however, there is nothing like holding a book.

    Blissful blessings,

    Holly

    • WOW! Holly, this is probably the most honoring compliment you have ever posted on my blog. Truly, indeed, great Cosmic Capricorns think alike! Although I have an Amazon Kindle Touch that two wonderful clients/students/friends gave me, it is not tactile enough for me (especially with so many Planets in Earth Signs). I love the touch, the feel, the smell of a good book. And you are moving! Clearly, I need to catch up on YOUR writing, too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
